Today has been a pretty good day.
It could have started earlier, but I’ve packed enough into the last four hours.
We now have cable! I don’t think I’ve wanted to watch TV more than I have in the last couple of days. It’s one thing to say you don’t watch a lot of TV while having the option, and another to not have the option at all.

I didn’t walk around my neighbourhood too much today- I blame the broken zipper on my sandals. Stupid things. But it was a good walk. I applied for jobs, soaked up the sunshine, and bought some much-needed odds and ends.
I think I like Ottawa a lot more in the summer. It’s nice just to be outside and enjoy the weather. Everything just seems more alive- maybe it’s the river, the massive amounts of cyclists, or all the trees. Whatever the case is, it’s nice to be here for a week before all the school craziness starts up again.
